Simply navigate to your chosen course page and press the apply now button. Be sure you meet all the entry requirements and that you have read all of the course information before applying. You will likely need one or two professional references, one of which should be an academic referee. In addition, if it is a postgraduate course you are applying to, you will need an official academic transcript of your university grades to date. International students can also apply in this way. After you have sent off your application, the university will contact you to let you know whether you have been successful.
Accommodation
The accommodation at Aston University is award-winning and all new undergraduate students are guaranteed a room. There is also off-campus accommodation which is organised through the Aston Students’ Union who can help you to find good rental properties around the city. The on-campus accommodation features great facilities such as en-suite rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and 24/7 security. All bills are generally included in the rent price as well as basic contents insurance. You will have access to furnished bedrooms and fitted kitchens with laundry facilities in the property.
Students will also have access to a study area and a common room to socialise with friends and relax between classes. There is also bike storage and vending machines on site. The fees range between $141 to $147 weekly depending on how many students you share with. First-year students can apply for accommodation on the Aston University website, returning students can apply via Unite Students to secure their place. Scholarships and Financial Support
Aston University provides a range of scholarships to students who are qualified to attend Aston University but are limited by their financial circumstances. Some of these scholarships include the Aston Achievement / Vice Chancellor’s Achievement Scholarship, Aston Mature Adult Learners Scholarship, Aston Support Scholarship, and more. There are also a number of international scholarships available including the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, the Global Excellence Scholarship, and the Global Ambassador Scholarship.
