About
Every year, 12,000 students of all ages make the decision to study at Barking and Dagenham College. They have a total of four campuses – Rush Green, Barking, The Broadway Theatre, and Barking Learning Centre. Rush Green is their main site and they have invested heavily in their facilities and campuses. This campus is actually home to their £15 million Institute of Technology. The Rush Green campus is easily accessible from Dagenham or Romford and is spread across 28.5 acres of East London. Some of the excellent facilities offered here include the STEM Centre which is a hi-tech hub for technology, science, and maths learning, and the iCreate which is a digital creative resource for tech start-ups and students alike. There are also fine art studios, student support services, a multi-purpose fitness centre, and many public-facing amenities including their coffee shop, salons, restaurants, and more.
Types of Programs They Run
Barking and Dagenham College provides a range of programs across different levels and topics. Some of these topics include accounting, construction, design, business, health, education, nursing, science, social work, art, photography, beauty therapy, bookkeeping, bricklaying, and much more. They provide courses for 16–18-year-olds, adults, and those seeking to progress with apprenticeships and higher education. Full-time, part-time and online programs are also available.
