Bath Spa University was founded in 1852 as Bath School of Art. It is a public institution of higher education and research and came to be as a result of the Great Exhibition that took place in 1851. They were officially granted university status in 2005 and gained their current title. Their main campus is situated in Newton Park and is the oldest and biggest site of the institution. This campus has incredible academic buildings including laboratories, workstations, classrooms as well as high-tech equipment.

They also have an excellent library that houses numerous academic resources and has many recreational areas for students to enjoy and socialise. They also have a satellite campus located in Corsham Court and numerous other campuses around Bath city.
