City, University of London was established in 1894 when it used to be known as the Northampton Institute. They gained university status in 1966 and have been serving as the University of London’s constituent college since 2016. City, University of London is now known as a public research institution. They are known for their academic excellence and have a strong association with the City of London.
The university sits in the heart of London and attracts students from all across the globe. In addition, they have other campuses in the city and in East End, West End, and Islington. Accommodation
City, University of London has a wide range of student accommodation to choose from. All of the properties are within walking distance of the campus and are situated near public transport and all necessary amenities. The room types vary from single occupancy bedrooms in flats, studio bedrooms, and en-suite rooms. Some of the accommodation is just for undergraduate students or postgraduate students while some allow for both. Most of the accommodation is self-catered and smoking is not permitted.
There is usually on-site management also and 24-hour CCTV and security guards on-site. You will get free Wi-Fi, bike storage, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Utilities are included in the rent as well as contents insurance. TV licenses are not included in the rent, nor is food or your phone bill. Bedrooms contain a bed, wardrobe, shelving, a desk, and a chair. Some bedrooms have a private en-suite bathroom. If not, you will have to share a bathroom and shower facility with other students.
