About
Edinburgh College of Art was established in 1906 as a result of the merger between the School of Applied Art and the Royal Institution School. They provide a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and short courses spanning art, design, and music. Edinburgh College of Art has excellent facilities and resources including studios and workshops, libraries, performance areas and exhibitions, equipment to borrow, cinema space, editing suite, free-use hub, music room, concert hall, café, and more. Their schools include the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, the School of Design, the School of Art, the Reid School of Music, and the History of Art School. The college is situated in Lauriston Place and being in Edinburgh, there is a strong culture here and lots of art festivals, rich history, and celebrations to get involved in. There are also lots of green areas nearby and some restaurants and bars too so you can socialise and meet new people.
Types of Postgraduate Programs They Run
Edinburgh College of Art has a number of different postgraduate-level degree programs. These cover topics such as architectural and urban design, sustainable design, architectural history, contemporary art, design for change, graphic design, film directing, creative music practice, music composition, sound design, and more. Admissions Process
To apply for undergraduate programs at The Edinburgh College of Art, you must make your application via the UCAS. To do this, visit the UCAS website and begin filling in the online application form. Accommodation
