About

Edinburgh Napier University was founded in 1964 as a publicly-owned institution for higher education. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, it began as Napier Technical College and earned its current name in 1992 when it gained university status. They have three campuses – Craiglockhart, Sighthill, and Merchiston. Their Craiglockhart Campus has the law and business schools as well as the buildings of Craiglockhart Hydropathic Hospital.

It also has a games lab, TV and radio studios, art and music studios, and a newsroom. The Sighthill Campus houses over 5,000 students and the Merchiston campus houses the Schools of Engineering, Computing, Arts and Creative Industries, and the Built Environment. The university is in close proximity to recreational facilities and entertainment as well as public transport and necessary amenities. They have almost 19,500 students across their three campuses.

Postgraduate Programs They Run

Edinburgh Napier University provides several postgraduate programs that cover a wide range of topics. Some of these study areas include acting, science, management, business, finance, design, engineering, journalism, health, law, languages, and more. Accommodation

Edinburgh Napier University currently houses more than 1,240 students on three sites around the city centre. Their accommodation is modern and affordable, supported by a university staff team. The properties are a short distance from the campus as well as necessary amenities and entertainment. Room types vary as do rent prices but you can expect at the minimum for your room to have a bed, wardrobe, storage, desk, and chair. Some rooms may also have their own private en-suite bathroom. Those who do not will have to share a bathroom with other students. Other areas that are shared include kitchens and living rooms.
