Falmouth University was initially established in 1902 and officially became a university in 2012. It is a multi-arts university within the southwest coastline of England in Cornwall. They have two campuses, one in Penryn and one in Falmouth. Beyond fine art topics, the university provides degrees in marketing, architecture, performance, and advertising. In 2017, they also gained a new media center on campus which allows them to provide animation and photography programs also.

They are associated with the University of Exeter and they have opened a teaching and library space known as The Exchange. Their students have voted them first in the UK for library administrations, student welfare, and campus environment in the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey.
