Great honour for Kent Business School following IOE Accreditation
This is a great acheivment!
Kent Business School’s MS in International Business and Management and the BSc in International Business have been accredited by Institute of Export and International Trade (IOE&IT).
The result of such an accreditation are several benefits to both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Business School.
These include gaining access to a daily bulletin of international trade information as well as access to masterclasses, free of charge, on international trade topics and discounts on IOE and IT courses and events.
Dr Omar Al-Tabbaa is the Director of Studies for MSc International Business and Management at Kent Business School and was delighted with the accreditation. He said it “is another evidence of the quality and relevance of our MSc International Business and Management (MSc IBM). The IOE&IT is a professional membership body representing and supporting the interests of everyone in the domain of international trade.”
Therefore, this new accreditation demonstrates that our MSc IBM is an industry-accredited program, which meets the high standards of education and good practice set by the IOE&IT,” he continued.
“On the other hand, our students will be able to gain membership of the IOE&IT during the course, which offers them access to industry publications, Industry webinars and podcasts on international business and international trade topics, as well as, a valuable database of networking and job opportunities,” he added.
Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the IOE&IT, Kevin Shakespeare also weighed in.
He said: “Skills and knowledge in international trade matter more than ever with the UK set to become an independent trading nation in a post-Covid world.”
“Credible training in this vital area is therefore of the highest importance. Our accreditation is a recognisable mark of quality, and we are glad to accredit Kent Business School’s BSc (Hons) International Business & MSc International Business and Management courses,” he explained.
