Accommodation
Guildhall School of Music & Drama has its own hall of residence, Sundial Court, which is situated to the side of the main building. It has 176 bedrooms in 39 flats and the weekly rent is £196. This fee includes a single room and utility bills such as electricity, Wi-Fi, gas, and water. Most first-year undergraduate students are guaranteed a room. Music students are permitted to practice in their rooms during certain hours and some bedrooms are big enough to have a piano. Rooms include a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, and storage. You will have to share a bathroom and shower facility, a kitchen, and a common room with other students.
Scholarships and Financial Support
Guildhall School of Music & Drama has a number of scholarships and bursaries available to support students financially. Some of these include the Supported Application Scheme which provides free workshops and advice on the interview and audition processes. In addition, there is the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship available for music, acting, and production arts students.
