Lancaster University was founded in 1964 by the Royal Charter. It is one of the UK’s leading research-intensive universities. The campus sits on a stunning 560-acre site at Bailrigg, three miles away from the Lancaster City Center. The Bailrigg campus is home to Lancaster Arts with the Nuttfield Theatre and various other performing arts.
They have 9 colleges and they all have their own private residence blocks. Bars, banks, restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, beauty salons, and post offices are all in close proximity. The university provides a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. The university currently has more than 13,000 full-time students coming from a range of different countries.

Postgraduate and part-time applicants can apply for courses at Lancaster University directly on the website. To do so, visit the relevant course page on the university’s website. Then, press apply and fill out your application. Before you start filling in your application, be sure to check you meet all the entry criteria. Once you have finished, you can submit your application. The admissions team will look over it and revert back to you.
Accommodation
Lancaster University has a wide range of accommodation options for undergraduate and postgraduate students. They also have accommodation suitable for families and individuals with disabilities. In fact, they have been rated the UK’s Best University Halls eight times since 2010 in the annual National Student Housing Awards. The rooms types vary depending on the property from flats to self-contained studios and single occupancy standard rooms. At a minimum, you can expect your room to have a bed, wardrobe, shelves, drawers, a desk, and a chair. Some rooms are en-suite while others do not have bathroom and showering facilities.
