Admissions Process
Undergraduate full-time applicants should make their application via the UCAS. Be sure to include the correct institution and course codes when you apply. The university will then contact you to inform you on your application’s status. Some courses will require applicants to complete a UGAA. At the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Undergraduate Admissions Assessment (UGAA) is used to access applicants fairly. The UGGA is conducted as an online examination. The assessment takes three hours and consists of English sections and maths sections.
It is designed to test your numerical and written skills. It has three sections – Section A (essay questions), Section B (maths problems), and Section C and D. After you have sat this examination, which usually takes place in the first week of March, you will be contacted by the Undergraduate Admissions team as soon as all the details have been finalised. Postgraduate applicants can apply for courses directly on the website and they can also track their application here. The university will be in touch in the following weeks to let you know if they are offering you a place on the course.
