About

The Medway School of Pharmacy is the rest of a unique collaboration between the University of Kent and the University of Greenwich. It was opened in 2004 and since then, they have gained huge recognition as a school of pharmacy. The Medway School of Pharmacy sits in the centre of the Medway shared university campus. Being located in the heart of the multi-university campus, they have state-of-the-art facilities. Some of these include a dispensing lab, counter room, clean room simulation laboratory, four learning classrooms, specialist teaching laboratories, and more. Their laboratories and teaching rooms are packed with industry-standard equipment including microscopes, mock feed bags, a dissolution tester, and a computerised simulated patient. They provide a range of postgraduate and undergraduate courses as well as short programs.

Types of Postgraduate Programs They Run

Medway School of Pharmacy has a number of postgraduate programs to choose from across a range of disciplines. These include medicines optimisation, independent and supplementary prescribing, and general pharmacy practice. Some of the award classifications their postgraduate level courses offer include Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), and Master of Science (MSc). Most of their postgraduate programs are part-time only also.

Medway School of Pharmacy’s accommodation is offered by both University of Greenwich and the University of Kent. Accommodation at the University of Greenwich varies from £160 per week to more than £250 per week depending on the room type. At the University of Kent, accommodation varies from £4,500 to £7,000 per year. Both universities have a range of different accommodation to choose from including en-suite rooms, single occupancy rooms with shared facilities, and more.
