Moulton College is a specialist land-based college with nearly 100 years of experience in training adults and young people in skills associated with the natural, recreational, and built environment. They are committed to working closely with employers to make sure the curriculum delivered is relevant to their current and future needs. Whether you are returning to college after a break, a school leaver, looking to mix study with work, or are on a hunt for professional development, you will find a course at Moulton College. The college is split into several campuses and main centres. The primary campus is situated in the centre of the Northamptonshire countryside and covers more than 450 hectares, with an additional 170 hectares rented as grazing for their livestock. They farm a lot of this land commercially to offer a realistic resource for their students. Moulton College also has world-class facilities including their animal welfare centre, horse stables, sport and fitness areas, social spaces, library, and more.

Types of Programs They Run

Moulton College has a range of programs to choose from including access to higher education courses, programs for school leavers, degree-level programs, part-time and full-time courses, and more. They cover a plethora of different topics including agriculture, animal care, management, zoology, bricklaying, construction, business, engineering, conservation, food, crafting, fitness, sport, the list goes on. Some of these programs allow for part-time learning also.

Admissions Process

To apply for most of Moulton College’s programs, all you have to do is visit their website. Then, navigate to the webpage of your chosen course and click the apply button. After you click this, you will be redirected to an online application form to fill out. Once you have sent off this application, the admissions team will review it and contact you in the weeks following with their decision. For degree-level programs, the admissions process changes slightly as you must make your application via the UCAS. Simply visit the UCAS website and begin filling in your application. Remember to include the correct institution and course codes when providing your information. The college’s admissions team will review it and contact you.

Accommodation

Moulton College has its own accommodation which students can avail of. They have more than 300 bedrooms available, each of which has its own en-suite facilities Their accommodation has been designed to offer students ample opportunity to socialise, with a shared communal lounge and kitchen area, while also giving you the ability to have your own space. Your room will contain a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, and storage as well as your en-suite bathroom. With your room, you will get free WiFi, all-inclusive bills, card-controlled access to all the residential blocks, on-site parking, on-site coin-operated laundry facilities, a dedicated warden team, and 24/7 security.
