About
The Royal Agricultural University is situated in the South Western County of Gloucestershire. It was initially set up following a meeting of the Fairford and Cirencester Famers’ Club that took place in 1842. The institution officially began functioning in 1845 thanks to the Royal Charter from Queen Victoria. In the beginning, they had just 25 students. It wasn’t until 2013 that they gained their current name and university status. The university sits on a beautiful 25-acre site that is surrounded by the rolling hills of Cotswolds located in downtown Cirencester.
