Sheffield Hallam University is situated in South Yorkshire in Sheffield and is one of the most diverse and largest universities in England. They have two campuses – one in the city center and the other collegiate campus which is 2 miles from Broomhall Estate, south-west Sheffield. They provide more than 708 courses and have over 30,000 students, a good portion of which are international students.
Sheffield Hallam University offer students undergraduate, postgraduate, and short programs across a wide range of disciplines. They have tonnes of research centers and faculties, all of which have been divided up into four parts. These include the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Science, Technology and Arts, and the Sheffield Business School. They have 30 centers specifically for research also.

Admissions Process

This will redirect you to an online application form which you can fill out. Before applying ensure you read all the entry criteria and that you meet them. Also, make sure you have all the relevant documentation to hand. Once you have completed your application, the admissions team will review it and revert back to you.
International postgraduate applicants and part-time undergraduate applicants can apply in the same way. Students who want to study full-time undergraduate courses should apply via the UCAS. Simply visit the UCAS website to start filling in your application. You can choose up to 5 courses when doing so. Be sure to include the correct institution and course codes when you are applying also. Once you have sent off your application, the admissions team will review it and contact you to let you know whether they would like to offer you a place.
Accommodation
Sheffield Hallam University offers a range of student accommodation and there are many reasons why it is a great place for students to stay. The application process is flexible in that you are not obligated to accept any room offered to you. What’s more, there are no hidden costs whatsoever – the prices you are told are fully inclusive. They also guarantee to provide you with a room in one of their halls of residence and make sure you live with other Hallam students, nearby both of their campuses.
The rent prices and room types vary; however, you can expect to have a room with a bed, a wardrobe, and a study area that includes a desk and chair. Usually, you will either have a private en-suite bathroom or have to share a bathroom and shower facility with the other students in your halls. Kitchens and living areas are also usually shared.
