South Essex College of Further and Higher Education was established in 1899 as an art school and was later renamed Junior Day Technical Schol. It wasn’t until 2004 that it gained its current name. South Essex College of Further and Higher Education is the biggest vocational and technical education and training provider in Essex. They have campuses in Thurrock, Basildon, and Southend. South Essex College of Further and Higher Education caters to more than 12,000 students and is a key provider for skills development at all levels. They provide a range of programs including courses for school leavers, apprenticeships, university-level programs, professional programs for employers, adult courses, and part-time programs across a diverse range of disciplines.
