Success for a UK University in The UK’s Best Young University and National Student Survey 2021 results
There is great news for one UK University as they were named the Best Young University in the UK by the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings 2021 as well as finishing in first place in the National Students Survey 2021 – two fantastic honours.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School picked up the honour. They were the only institution in the UK to make the list of Top 50 in the world, as part of the Young University World Rankings which is a huge honour.
These rankings look at global universities that have been established within the last 50 years. The university is looked at in relation to analysing their academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per faculty member, international faculty ratio, faculty/student ratio and the international student ratio.
Many different aspects and figures are analysed in order to make the list of the Top 50 worldwide.
BSMS offers both undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities and are in equal partnership with the Universities of Sussex and the University of Brighton with the NHS organisations in the south-east.
Also, the National Student Survey 2021 results have been revealed and it was BSMS who finished in first place. The national student survey helps to give future students an idea of their future prospects to aid them in their decision making.
It also gives current students a voice and to share their opinion which in time can benefit universities by receiving feedback.
Over 300,00 students took part in the survey. BSMS scored 95% in the survey and were closely followed by the University of St Andrews who finished with 93%, the University of Bath who scored 86% and the University of Strathclyde and Loughborough University who finished neck and neck with just .04% separating them.
