The future research library: navigating our careers and our futures

EARLL is hosting a free, in person event focused on the future research library. On Fri, 13 Dec 2024 10:00 – 16:00 at LSE PhD Academy, 10 Portugal Street #4th Floor London WC2A 2HD you will hear from a range of speakers talking about future skills, innovative projects and how to cope with career uncertainty and change.

The morning session will focus on skills and transformation in the library sector, with a keynote address from Niamh Tumelty, LSE Library Director followed by lightning talks on innovative projects that colleagues are working on and a more in-depth session on AI.

The afternoon session, delivered by Helen Rimmer (Librarian and Kindness & Wellbeing coach) will focus more on soft skills and how to cope with change and develop resilience in the face of changing workplace environment and technology.
