About
The London Institute of Banking and Finance began in 1879 when a small group of bank workers joined forces. They were united by a commitment of leadership on banking practice that would be available to all working in the sector. They set up the first institutes in England and Wales. The Institute quickly became central to the banking community in Wales and England, and it has had an influence globally. The London Institute of Banking and Finance provides an array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as professional qualification programs.
