About

The history of the University of Law traces back to 1876 when it started as Gibson & Weldon, a tutorial firm. They officially gained university status in 2012 and are the largest law school in the UK. They provide practice-based training to students in 15 different locations across the UK and Hong Kong. Their campus locations include Bristol, Manchester, Nottingham, Chester, Birmingham, London Moorgate, Leeds, Bloomsbury, London, and Guildford.

Their Birmingham campus sits in the heart of the city and has lots of law firms in the area making it a great place for students to get exposure. Their Hong Kong campus is the newest and the city also has tonnes of law firms that provide lots of opportunities to students. Beyond academic life, the students can get involved in lots of fun activities and events, enabling them to socialise and make friends. These include quiz and dance nights, sports events, and theatre events.

Types of Postgraduate Programs They Run

The University of Law has a plethora of postgraduate programs to choose from. They cover subject matter such as project management, international business law, education, dispute resolution, cyber security, bar practice, and more. The accreditations their postgraduate courses offer include Master of Science (MSc), Master of Law (LLM), Master of Art (MA), and more.

Admissions Process

All applications to undergraduate courses at the University of Law should be made through the UCAS. Simply visit www.UCAS.com and register your details. Then, fill out your application form. Ensure you include the correct institution and course codes when making your application. The admissions team will then review your application and get back to you with their decision. International students can apply in the same way. Postgraduate and part-time applicants can apply directly online on the University of Law website. You will find an application form at the bottom of each course page. Once sent, the university will review it and get back to you.

Accommodation

The University of Law has reserved accommodation for undergraduate students close to their campuses with some of the best student accommodation providers in the UK.
