The University of Central Lancashire is an international, multi-campus founded in 1828. Based in Preston, they are a government-run institution that provides higher education. Their main campus in Preston has high-quality teaching staff and facilities as well as green and social areas and recreation facilities. In addition, the University of Central Lancashire operates satellite campuses in Burnley, Cyprus, and Cumbria. They are one of the UK’s largest universities and are made up of students from over 100 countries across the globe.

They have an engineering innovation centre which is a major exhibition and teaching space that consists of several specialist labs and four fight stimulators. They also have a media factory which houses digital media facilities such as radio stations and newsrooms. Their main Preston campus is situated in the heart of the city, minutes away from nightlife, attractions, and shops.

Admissions Process
Full-time undergraduate students who wish to study at the University of Central Lancashire should make applications via the UCAS. Once submitted, the university will be in touch to let you know if they would like to offer you a place on the course. Part-time students and postgraduate students can apply directly using the University of Central Lancashire’s online portal on their website. The university will then contact you regarding your application’s status. International students applying for undergraduate courses can apply either way. Postgraduate international students must apply via the University of Central Lancashire’s online portal.
Accommodation
The University of Central Lancashire has lots of different accommodation options available that offer good value for money in a vibrant, inclusive, and safe halls community. The Preston campus has 6 different halls each offering either self-catered halls, shared facilities or en-suite flats. All bills are included in the rent in addition to free Wi-Fi and internet. There is also 24-hour security with CCTV and an on-site team. Flats will come with a communal kitchen and modern, decently sized bedrooms.
Some even have an enclosed landscaped garden area. The price of accommodation at the University of Central Lancashire varies depending on the hall. All halls are within walking distance of the library, city centre, a laundrette, the train station, and bus station. You can apply for accommodation here via the online portal. If you are accepted, you will be asked to pay a minimum of £250 as a reservation fee.
Scholarships and Financial Support
The University of Central Lancashire has a number of scholarships and bursaries for undergraduate and postgraduate students to help in paying tuition fees.
