The University of Exeter was established as a public university in 1955. It is part of the Russell Group which comprises the top research-intensive universities in the UK and has 3 campuses. Their Streatham Campus is the largest and is recognised as one of the most beautiful buildings in the nation. Their other campuses include St Luke’s Campus, Truro Campus, and Penryn Campus.
They currently have students from more than 130 different locations and a population of 25,263. They also have over 200 student societies for students to get involved in. These include the theatre club, creative writing, poker society, and more. The campus has state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities as well as laboratories for technology, engineering, science, mathematics, and medicine.
Postgraduate Programs They Run
The University of Exeter provides several postgraduate programs covering subject matter such as anthropology, languages, geology, healthcare, education, finance, data science, psychology, sociology, and more. Admissions Process
Those looking to study full-time undergraduate courses can apply through the UCAS. To do so, visit the UCAS website and fill in the application form. After you have filled out your application in its entirety, you can submit it for review by the admissions team. They will look at your application in-depth and come back to you in the weeks following to let you know whether you have been successful.
Postgraduate and part-time undergraduate applicants can apply using the university’s online application portal. To do this, navigate to the web page of your chosen course on the University of Exeter website and press apply. Then, fill out your application. Be sure to check you meet all the courses’ entry requirements before you submit your application. Once you have submitted your application, the admissions team will review it and contact you to let you know whether they would like to offer you a place on their course.
Accommodation
The University of Exeter has a number of student accommodation options available in its Exeter and Penryn Campuses. The room types vary from standard to en-suite rooms to studios. As the room types vary so do the prices. You can expect at the minimum to have a bed, a wardrobe, storage, shelves, a desk, and a chair in your room. If you do not have an en-suite, you will have a washbasin and have to share a shower room with other students. Most properties have a shared kitchen and living area. The rent price includes all utility bills, contents insurance, and internet. In addition, the Exeter accommodation includes 16 meals per week in the catered halls in this price. Scholarships and Financial Support
The University of Exeter has a number of scholarships available to help students in paying their tuition fees.
