About 

The University of Hull is ranked in the top 50 public universities for research. It was founded in 1927 and is situated in England’s port city Kingston upon Hull. Their campus is based in a residential area and they have three different accommodations. These include Taylor Court, The Courtyard, and Westfield Court. The campus has so many bars, nightclubs, shops, and restaurants nearby. On the campus, you will find cafeterias, a book shop, an advice center, a career service, and sports facilities.  

They have four main faculties, including the Faculty of Arts, Culture and Education, Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and Faculty of Business, Law, and Politics. They offer so many different undergraduate and postgraduate programs across different disciplines. They have around 15,000 students including their international students that come from 100 countries.  

Postgraduate Programs They Run 

The University of Hull provides numerous postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programs spanning subject matter such as creative writing, business, education, health, languages, social studies, music, finance, engineering, computer science, and more. Some of the award classifications their courses offer include Master of Science (MSc), Master of Art (MA), Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert), Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and more. Their courses allow for flexible learning options such as part-time and online studying.  

Admissions Process 

Full-time undergraduate home-based and international applicants should apply via the UCAS. All you need to do is visit the website to start filling out your application. It is important to ensure you include the correct institution and course codes here. After you have sent your application, it will be reviewed by the admissions team who will contact you in the following weeks regarding their decision. Postgraduate and part-time undergraduate students can make applications directly on the University of Hull website. Simply visit the relevant course page and press apply to start your application. Once submitted, the admissions team will contact you to let you know if they would like to offer you a place on the course.  

Accommodation 

The University of Hull has a range of student accommodation options for you to choose from. They enable you to live on campus while you study which means you are a short walk from lectures, the Students’ Union, and the gym. Prices vary depending on the type of room you book. You can expect to have a room with a bed, wardrobe, storage, shelves, desk, and chair. Some rooms have an en-suite bathroom while others do not which means you would have to share with other students. Living and kitchen areas are shared. There is 24-hour security on-site and you will have access to fast Wi-Fi. In addition, laundry facilities are in close proximity and there is bike storage. Scholarships and Financial Support 

The University of Hull has a number of scholarships available for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Some of these scholarships include the Graduate PFT Scholarship, the Armed Forces Bereavement Scholarship Scheme, the Commonwealth Scholarships Scheme, the GREAT Scholarships, and more.
