The University of London was founded in 1836 and is an open research university. It is associated with the European University Association, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, and Universities UK. They were the first university in the UK to run examinations for women and are one of the oldest universities in England. They started offering degrees in 1837 in topics such as law, arts, and medicine. Their campus sits on more than 12 hectares of land and consists of a senate house, library, halls of residence, and more.

Accommodation

The University of London has a range of student accommodation available in its halls of residence. The room types vary depending on the property as do the rent prices. You will have a 24/7 reception for support, laundrette facilities on-site, Wi-Fi, and a common room. You may also have bike storage, TV rooms, and a music room. Your bedroom will contain a bed, wardrobe, shelving, a desk, and a chair. Some bedrooms also have private en-suite bathrooms. If not, you will have to share a bathroom and shower facility with other students. The kitchen and living areas are also shared. The kitchen will have a cooking space and dining space.
