Founded in 1862, the University of Plymouth is a public university that gained university status in 1992. They are affiliated with CHUC, EUA, ACU, and Universities UK. They also have academic collaborations with numerous renowned institutions. Their main campus is situated in the heart of Plymouth. This campus has incredible buildings and facilities including student residence halls, laboratories, libraries, and more. Their second campus is the North Plymouth Campus and it houses digital media suites, three performance rehearsal studios, and a public art gallery.

They also have an excellent library that is packed with journals, e-books, and many other learning resources. The university has many faculties, each of which has a number of schools offering postgraduate and undergraduate programs. Accommodation

The University of Plymouth has tonnes of student accommodation available to students on campus and in its student village. The properties have 24/7 security and are a close walk from both the University facilities and city-centre amenities.
