The University of Suffolk is a public institution for higher education situated in Suffolk. They were established in 2007 as University Campus Suffolk but they were not given the ability to grant degrees under their name. The institution was entirely transformed in 2016 into a university and changed to its current name. The Privy Council gave it degree-granting status then. The university has associations with East Coast College, University of Essex, University of East Anglia, and West Suffolk College.
The university operates across three more sites in Suffolk and England in addition to their main campus in Ipswich. These locations include Great Yarmouth, Bury St Edmunds, and Lowestoft. The university has a range of excellent facilities include lecture halls and theatres, a library, halls of residence, café, teaching rooms, restaurants, and more.
