Writtle University College was founded in 1893 and has been producing leaders within the land-based industries and organisations for over 120 years. They are one of the oldest specialist institutions in the UK. Writtle University College provides a number of animal, land-based, and sports courses at a range of levels including undergraduate, further education, postgraduate, apprenticeships, and short courses. Accommodation

Writtle University College has its own student halls of residence. They have a range of catered and self-catered room options. The university guarantees accommodation in the halls for all first-year students, including postgraduate and international students. Rent starts at £116 per week for a standard, single occupancy room on a 37-week contract. At a minimum, your room will have a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, and storage. Scholarships and Financial Support

Writtle University College has a number of bursaries available to help students pay their tuition fees. Some of these include the Care Experienced Students’ Bursary, the Mature Learner’s “Return to Learn” Bursary, the David Colegrave Foundation, the Ann Johnson’s Educational Foundation Grant, the Old Students Association, the Elinor Roper Scholarship, and more.
